White and wood finish kitchen cabinets have dominated the kitchen design scene for the past decades. White, being considered as a fail proof color for kitchen cabinetry, became a staple in contemporary and modern designs because of their timeless appeal and ability to brighten up spaces. Wood kitchen cabinets, on the other hand, were a traditional staple because of their classic looks and the natural warmth that they bring into spaces. Although these two kitchen cabinetry colors have a unique staying power, more homeowners are drawn to unique palettes which help create a stunning overall kitchen design.

Gray is the New White
Wondering what color to paint your cabinets? The kitchen industry's leading manufacturers say that while white cabinets continue to be tops, gray is the shade they're betting on to break
At SRB Signature Kitchen and Bath we see ourselves as partners in the bath and kitchen remodeling projects we complete. This is because we help homeowners who want to work with us, not those who expect us to work for them. To some reading this the difference may not seem critical. To us the difference is critical. The difference helps us attract and serve the right customers for our business, and at the same time has helped us to evolve to the processes we use and stick to today. Here are just a few ways our Full Remodel Process helps us work with you, and you with us.
Open and honest communication
Our past experiences have shown the difference our customers can come to expect and enjoy if we do our part to establish and develop a level of trust with those we work with. We do not take
In a previous blog we shared three reasons why SRB is different than other kitchen and bath contractors in the area. The main reason, of course, is because of the processes we use to support our Design/Build project delivery system. As part of that system, working together with you, the SRB team of professionals will assist you in developing what is referred to as a “scope of work” for your kitchen and/or bath remodeling project. And, because SRB only designs projects our customers intend to have us complete for them, this scope of work goes well beyond just a list of the tasks to be performed and the kitchen and bath products to be included. When SRB develops a scope of work we are getting your project ready for construction. Here are three ways a SRB scope of work helps us deliver your project in a successful way, as efficiently

Darker Floors
If you choose a light paint for walls or cabinetry, select a dark floor stain to up the cozy factor of the room. Mix one-half Ebony and one-half Jacobean from Minwax.
Bonus idea: The addition of furniture-like "feet" gives cabinetry a softer, more custom feel.
Think Beyond "Greige"
Gray undertones lend a timeless, totally livable vibe to most paint colors—not just beige—whether it's a sophisticated blue-gray seen in this photo (Oyster Bay by Sherwin-Williams), or a purple-gray (like Grayish by Sherwin-Williams )and green-gray (like Dry Sage by Benjamin Moore).
Heavy Up the Metal
The open shelving trend isn't going anywhere and in a kitchen void of upper cabinetry,
At SRB Signature Kitchen and Bath we believe a successful remodeling project should not be measured by the end result alone. It is our belief that the process and path of how we achieve that end goal is just as important. Important to us as well are the customers who choose to partner with us to transform an outdated kitchen or bath into the space they have been dreaming about and will be proud of. To consistently accomplish a great end result for our customers, we believe there are three ways our company stands out and is different than most other kitchen remodelers or bathroom contractors. Individually the three differences might not make us stand out but our difference is possible because we have strategically combined these three separate differences into one system we call our Full Remodel Process.

Natural or Not? A Guide to Granite vs. Quartz
You have spent months maybe even years planning out your kitchen or bathroom renovation project and it is finally time to finalize the countertops. Everything you read, everything you hear keeps mentioning two key products: Quartz and Granite. What is the big difference? What material is better? What are these materials made of? Don’t get yourself hung up on selecting the best product on the market - instead focus on which countertop material is going to be best for you - budget, lifestyle, esthetics.
First, a brief rundown of how each product is “made”.
Granite countertops are quarried right from the earth and brought up in a huge single chunk. These chunks are cut into more manageable blocks and are 100% natural stone-created by good old mother nature. Most granite originated in far off lands such as India, Brazil, and Italy. Some are even quarried
The Importance of Working with a Design-Build Company
You are ready to start a kitchen or bathroom remodel but where do you start? Do you open the phone book, call a contractor, and hope for the best? Do you watch hours of HGTV and get all the information you can handle on do-it-yourself design and general contracting? With years of experience in the Design-Build industry, we will highlight a few of the many reasons to work with a company like ours that can assist you in every aspect of your project from planning to completion.
What is Design-Build? Design-Build is a method of project delivery in which one entity – the Design-Build team – works under a single contract with the project owner to provide design and construction services. What does this mean to you?
Unlike traditional methods which would entail a customer working with one or multiple professionals to get a design
